Visitors are welcome at Monty’s horse training facility in California. Flag Is Up Farms is open to visitors from 9am to 5pm every day, no reservation or fee required. Come and watch Monty’s concepts at work!
Directions
- From the North:
U.S. Highway 101 south to Buellton. Exit at Route 246, turn left and drive straight through Buellton to the Farm – 1.7 miles, on the left. - From the South (Scenic Route):
U.S. Highway 101 to Santa Barbara. Exit at Route 154 (San Marcos Pass). Drive approximately 25 miles to Route 246. Turn left and stay on Route 246 through Santa Ynez and Solvang. Farm is 1.2 miles west of Solvang on Route 246, on the right. - From the South (Easy Route):
For anyone concerned about hauling a trailer over the 3,000 ft. San Marcos Pass Highway (Route 154), instead take Highway 101 north to Buellton/Solvang exit Route 246. Turn right and drive through Buellton – 1.7 miles to the Farm, on the left.
